When teaching new Inventor students, I always like to mention the Precise Input tool for sketching. I often find some students love it, whereas others may not ever use it because they want to add entities with less precision and then dimension/constrain them on their own. Over the last five”ish” years, the Inventor interface has been moving to mini-toolbars and palettes and now with Inventor 2024, Autodesk has transitioned Precise Input to the convenient mini-toolbar interface.
